Ponce School of Medicine

The Ponce School of Medicine (PSM) is a private non-profit medical school in Ponce, Puerto Rico that offers studies in general practice, primary care, biomedical sciences, and clinical psychology. It was founded in 1980 with the purpose of providing continuity to the medical education program originally developed by the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in 1977.
The school is fully accredited by the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC), Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and by the Council on Higher Education of Puerto Rico (CHE-PR). In 2003 it was accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
