Pontarddulais is the name of an electoral ward, a community and a town in the City and County of Swansea, South Wales.
The electoral ward covers the town of Pontarddulais and its surrounding rural areas, in the parliamentary constituency of Gower.
Pontarddulais town is situated some 16 km (10 miles) northwest of Swansea city centre. The town boasts a relatively high proportion of Welsh-speakers.
The town has a few schools and churches in it. Pontarddulais Primary School, Pontarddulais Comprehensive School, Brynyago School and a few other Welsh Speaking Schools. Pontarddulais Comprehensive and Primary are English Speaking schools, but do teach the Welsh Language. Pontarddulais railway station is served by the Heart of Wales Line.
