The Poughkeepsie Journal is a newspaper based in Poughkeepsie, New York. It is the oldest paper in New York state, and is the 3rd oldest in the nation.[link]

It services not only Poughkeepsie, but the entire Mid-Hudson Valley. It was formerly known as the Poughkeepsie New-Yorker, and was mentioned in the book My Side of the Mountain under that name.
