Encyclopedia : P : PO : POV : Povitica
Povitica (pronounced poh-va-teet-sa) is a traditional Croatian and Slovenian delicacy, although it is more commonly known as potica in most of Slovenia. Thin pastry is rolled with sweetened walnut (traditionally) filling into a long shape and baked. Sliced when cool and served, the slices have a nice spiral pattern.
