Preseli was a local government district in the county of Dyfed in Wales from 1974 to 1996.

It was formed on April 1, 1974 from the northern part of Pembrokeshire - specifically, the borough of Haverfordwest, the urban districts of Fishguard and Goodwick, Milford Haven and Neyland, along with Cemaes Rural District and Haverfordwest Rural District.

On April 1, 1996 the district was abolished and merged into a reconstituted Pembrokeshire. Pembrokeshire now has two MPs, one of which represents a constituency known as Preseli Pembrokeshire.
