Encyclopedia : P : PR : PRE : Preston Road tube station
Preston Road tube station is a station on the Metropolitan Line. It is in Zone 4, and lies between Northwick Park tube station and Wembley Park.
It is served by 'slow' trains (fast and semi-fast trains are non-stop between Wembley Park and Harrow-on-the-Hill station).
The horticultural displays on the platform have won many awards over the years, but have recently fallen into disrepair.
The point where Preston Road crosses the railway line is the border between the postal areas of Harrow and Wembley.
The [10th Section] of the Capital Ring passes the station.
