Priboj (Прибој) is a town and municipality located in the Zlatibor District of Serbia at 43.59° North, 19.54° East. In 2003 the town has a total population of 19,600 people.

Demographics

In 1991, the population of the Priboj municipality was 35,951 people, and was composed of:

Serbs and Montenegrins (67.26%)
Muslims by nationality (30.39%)
Others.

In 2002, the population of the Priboj municipality was 30,377 people, and was composed of:

Serbs (74.15%)
Bosniaks (18.33%)
Muslims by nationality (4.70%)
Montenegrins (1.42%)
Others.

Note: Most of those who in 1991 census declared themselves as Muslims by nationality, in the next census in 2002 declared themselves as Bosniaks, while the smaller number of them still declare themselves as Muslims by nationality.
