Primus Telecom is a telecommunications provider, founded in 1994 by ex-MCI executives. They are listed on the NASDAQ (Nasdaq: PRTL) with their world headquarters in Washington D.C., with subsidaries in Australia, Canada and other countries making a substantial portion of its revenue.
In Australia Primus Telecom is considered a Tier-1 provider due to its nationwide network and international connections to its U.S peers.
