Prince Pedro Gastao of Orléans-Braganza
Encyclopedia : P : PR : PRI : Prince Pedro Gastao of Orléans-Braganza
- redirect [[Template:Not verified]]
He is the elder son of Pedro, Prince of Grao Para and his morganatic wife countess Elisabeth Dobrzensky.
His wife was infanta Esperanza of Sicily, daughter of Infante Carlos of Sicily and Louise of Orleans-Paris.
He represents a rival claim to that of his cousin's son Prince Luiz of Orleans-Braganza to be the heir of the deposed Emperor Pedro II of Brazil, a claim that does not take into account the renunciation of his father when he married against the wishes of the dynasty a Czech noblewoman.
