Properties of the Holy See, as agreed in the 1929 Lateran Treaty. They all have extraterritorial status.

The properties of the Holy See outside Vatican City but in the City of Rome:

Basilica of St. Mary Major (Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore)
Basilica of St. Paul outside the Walls (Basilica di San Paolo fuori le Mura), including the monastery

Palace of St Callixtus (San Callisto)
Buildings on the Gianicolo Hill, including that belonging to the Sacred College of Propaganda Fide.
Palace of the Holy (Roman) 12 Apostles attached to the Basilica dei Santi Apostoli.
Palace attached to the Church of San Carlo ai Catinari
Palazzo della Dataria near the Quirinal Palace.
Palazzo della Cancelleria between the Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Campo de' Fiori.
Palace of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples ("Palazzo di Propaganda Fide") on the Spanish Steps.
Palace of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith adjacent to the Piazza San Pietro a Porta Cavalleggeri.

The properties of the Holy See outside Rome:

Pontifical Palace & Villa Barberini in the town of Castel Gandolfo.
Area of Santa Maria di Galeria, where the antennas of Radio vaticana are located. This area, donated by Italy to the Holy See in the 1950s is larger than the Vatican State's area itself (44 hectares).

Properties were ceded to the Holy See, without extraterritorial status:

The Basilica of the Holy House (Santa Casa) at Loreto, Province of Ancona.
The Basilica of St Francis at Assisi, Province of Perugia.
The Basilica of St Anthony at Padua, Province of Padua.
