Proto-Baltic language

Proto-Baltic is the proto-language of the Baltic branch of the Indo-European languages. It either developed from Proto-Balto-Slavic, or in loose contact with Proto-Slavic, in roughly the area of the modern Baltic States, from the 2nd millennium BC.
