Punalur

Punalur is a town in the Indian state of Kerala. It is situated 45 kilometers from Kollam, located at 76.92 °E 9.00 °N, 34 meters above sea level. Some notable locations in the town include the Punalur Paper Mill and the Punalur suspension bridge, which crosses the Kallada river. This bridge was constructed at the time of British rule in 1877.

Some of the famous nearby places are Kottarakara, Anchal, Kulathupuzha.

Some of the tourist spots near Punalur are Thenmala, Palaruvi Water Falls.

Main agricultural products of this township are rubber, black pepper, and other spices. Tenmala Ecotourism is 10 km away from this township.
