Qa'em Shahr

Qa'em Shahr, also spelt Qaemshahr, is a city in the Mazandaran province of Iran. It was once known as Shahi and before that as `Aliyabad. It is situated 237 km north-east of Tehran; 20 km south-east of Baboul; 23 kilometres south west of Sari, capital of mazandaran province. Population 18,000 in 1951.
