Qashani

The method of mosaic production in the 19th century. The mosaic technique uses Persian-like floral-depicting 4- or 6-sided glazed tiles. This mosaical feature can be seen in a Palestinian mosque called The Dome of the Rock. In Morocco, the process is known as zillij.
