Qingyuan (清远) is a prefecture-level city in Guangdong province of the People's Republic of China. It covers an area of 19.000 km².

Qingyuan is on Bei Jiang river. There is an expressway to Guangzhou. Qingyuan is surrounded by mountainuous areas. Cantonese is spoken here.
