Québec-Radio is a radio station broadcast on the internet. It is a medium of the Quebec independence movement and is associated with the newspaper Le Québécois.
Description
The main mission Québec-Radio claims to have is to counter an alleged lack of media either in favor of, or unbiased against the political project of Quebec sovereignty (similar to what Air America did for the American progressive movement). Like the mainstream Quebec independence movement, it tends to showcase fairly progressive opinions itself.Additionally to Quebec independence radio talk, it also broadcasts classic (and forgotten kitsch) Quebecois and , news bulletins, eclectic entertainment and international information (often about other independence movements). The flagship program of the station is Parlons politique, a weekly chat between Claude Fournelle and Patrick Bourgeois.
