RV is a movie starring Robin Williams, Cheryl Hines, Jeff Daniels, JoJo, Kristin Chenoweth and Josh Hutcherson. The movie began filming in the Vancouver area and southern Alberta on May 25th, 2005 and finished filming late 2005. It was released on April 28, 2006 in North America.

Synopsis
Bob Munro (played by Williams) and his dysfunctional family - wife Jamie, daughter Cassie and son Carl - rent a recreational vehicle for a trip to the Rocky Mountains where they encounter a community of bizarre campers, including the Gornackes, another family at an RV park who follow the Munro family, while Cassie and Earl, the eldest Gornacke child, fall in love.
Trivia
- One of the RVs used in the movie was donated to [True Blue Animal Rescue] (T-BAR), a no-kill animal shelter near Brenham, Texas. This donation was arranged by the producers of . An episode of the series that aired on January 30, 2006 featured a makeover of the home of T-BAR operators Dale and Melanie De'Aeth, which also included a complete renovation of T-BAR's facilities. The donation was announced to the family by Williams through a live video link.
- The movie's tagline is a play on the tagline for the movie Alien, "In space, no one can hear you scream."
- When the Gornickes follow the family, it is a parody of The Hitch-Hiker.
- In the UK, Australia, & New Zealand the film is subtitled Runaway Vacation, as the term "recreational vehicle" is not often used outside North America.
