Race: The Reality of Human Difference is a popularized sociology book, in which authors Vincent Sarich (Emeritus Professor of Anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley) and Frank Miele (senior editor of SKEPTIC MAGAZINE) argue for the reality of race. It was published by Westview Press in 2004, a year after PBS released its documentary, Race: The Power of an Illusion. Sarich and Miele's book may be read as a response to the points made by the PBS documentary.
