Raoul G. Cantero, III

Raoul G. Cantero, III (born 1960 in Madrid, Spain) is a Justice of the Florida Supreme Court, having been appointed by Governor Jeb Bush on July 10 2002. He has been mentioned as a potential Supreme Court nominee.
Cantero graduated from Florida State University as an undergraduate and from Harvard University's law school. Prior to his appointment to the Florida Supreme Court, he was a shareholder in the Miami firm of Adorno & Yoss. Cantero had not previously served as a judge, although he had extensive experience as an appellate attorney.
His maternal grandfather was former Cuban president Fulgencio Batista.
