Rap-A-Lot Records is a Houston, Texas based hip hop record label. The label was found by James Smith(A.K.A. J Prince) in the mid-1980's and it was the first successful southern rap label focusing on gangsta rap.

He has also promoted fights for such boxers as Roy Jones Jr. and St. Petersburg, FL natives Ronald "Winky" Wright and Jeff "Left Hook" Lacy, as well as rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys.
