Reciprocity may refer to:
- The Ethic of reciprocity, (The Golden Rule) is a general philosophical principle of most philosophies and religions. Some common codifications are:
- * "What you do not want others to do to you, do not do to others" (Confucius)
- * "What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow man" (Hillel)
- * "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" (Jesus)
- Reciprocity (social psychology), in-kind positive or negative responses of individuals towards the actions of others.
- Reciprocity (international relations), a principle that favours, benefits, or penalties that are granted by one state to the citizens or legal entities of another, should be returned in kind.
