The Red, White and Blue Party

The Red, White and Blue Party is a political party formed in Rochester, New York in Fall 2005 during the race for city mayor. Chris Maj, a man in his twenties, ran for mayor, without accepting political donations.

The platform of the party was as follows:

Focus on and Funding for Education

Legalization of Drugs, or putting drugs as the lowest priority for police

City Self Sufficiency

A lesser and more unlikely goal was the creation of a new state of North York, with Rochester as capital.

Chris Maj sometimes seemed to be shunned by officials, even being turned away at the doors and excluded from Mayoral debates.
