The company operates automated DVD rental facilities located in McDonald's restaurants and in convenience stores. DVDs rented from one redbox location can be returned using any other redbox facility. Redbox is also moving into grocery stores.
Redbox's current business model allows customers to rent from its selection of DVD's for $1.00 per evening. Some websites such as [redboxcodes.com] contain promotional codes that allow customers free DVD rentals. All DVD's are due back at 7:00pm the following day. There are never any late fees. Customers who keep a DVD for more than one day are just charged an additional $1. If the DVD is kept for 25 days, the customer has effectively bought the DVD, so redbox ceases charges on that particular DVD.
