2004 Renault Modus

The Renault Modus is a mini MPV designed and built by the French manufacturer Renault in Valladolid, Spain since September 2004. The production version is very similar to the homonime concept car, essentially a taller and shorter version of the Clio, targeted at people who need something a little smaller than the Renault Scénic. It shares a platform with the Nissan Note, which is a little longer but still similar in concept to the Modus.

Engines

Powering the radical Modus is a variety of engines. Available in Europe to date is a 1.2 16v in various states of tune, from a 65 bhp/48 kW unit to a 74 bhp/55 kW (basic engine also used in the Clio), a 1.4 L 16v (97 bhp/72 kW), a 1.5 L dCi model (from 85 bhp/63 kW up to 106 bhp/78 kW unit) and a larger petrol engine, a 1.6 L 16v (111 bhp/82 kW)
