Renfrew County

Renfrew is a county in the Canadian province of Ontario. The population in 2001 was 95,138. The area of the county is 7,645.68 square kilometres with 17 municipalities. The county seat is Pembroke.

The county is part of the riding of Renfrew—Nipissing—Pembroke, which is represented in the Canadian House of Commons by Cheryl Gallant. The riding's Member of Provincial Parliament is John Yakabuski. Renfrew Country has more than 900 lakes.[link]
