Reservation may refer to
A tract of reserved land set apart for a special purpose:
- an area for indigenous peoples to live in:
- * Indian reservation (Native American)
- * List of Indian reservations in the United States
- * Indian reserve (in Canada)
- A reservation is an area where hunting animals is not permitted, such as a see National park, wildlife refuge.
- In hospitality, a reservation may refer to a reserved appointment:
- for travel modalities, such as airline and train tickets. (computer reservations system).
- for lodging to hold an opening in an accommodation for a traveler's arrival on a particular day.
- for dining in a restaurant at a particular time
- A reservation is a Canadian constitutional power relating to law-making.
- An affirmative action policy in India that imposes quotas for disadvantaged minority groups (see:Mandal commission)
