The rim of Rheita crater remains well-defined with a sharp lip and a d inner wall. The rim overlaps a slightly smaller crater to the east, and has a pair of small impact craters in the northern wall. The crater floor is flat and it has a central peak.

By convention these features are identified on lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater mid-point that is closest to Rheita crater.
