Ribe Amt (English, Ribe County) is a county (Danish, amt) on the Jutland peninsula of in southwest Denmark. It includes Denmark's fifth largest city, Esbjerg. On January 1 2007, the county will be abolished and become part of Region Syddanmark (i.e. Region South Denmark).
