Richard Greene

He was a descendent of the cinema pioneer William Friese-Greene and was of Irish Catholic extraction, being born in Plymouth, England.
A matinee idol who appeared in more than 40 films, he was perhaps best known for the long-running British TV series The Adventures of Robin Hood, which ran from 1955 to 1960.
He was twice married:
- 1) The Anglo-Spanish actress Patricia Medina (1950-1960), who became Joseph Cotten's second and final wife.
