Richard Lippold

Richard Lippold (3 May 191522 August 2002) was an American sculptor, known for his geometric constructions using wire as a medium. He also worked as an industrial designer from 1937 to 1941. He has many famous works, two of which reside in the Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in the heart of New York City, New York. These works are entitled Orpheus and Apollo.[link]
