Written by Inés Rodena and starred by Ofelia Medina as a hunchback named Rina and Enrique Álvarez Félix as her love interest.
Three remakes have been produced since then under different names:

- María Mercedes (Mexico, 1992) with Thalía Sodi
- Inocente de ti (Mexico, 2004) with Camila Sodi (Thalia's niece)
Plot
Rina is an poor young woman who sells flowers in the streets of Mexico City. She approaches cars at stoplights to offer her products and one day it is an old rich man she meets. The man gets acquainted with Rina and eventually manipulates her into marrying him. The old man dies soon afterwards and Rina finds the challenge of the man's greedy sisters and her feelings for one of the women's son.External links
