Rinas Mother Teresa Airport (Albanian: Rinas or Rinasi) is an Airport serving Tirana, Albania and is Albania's main airport. It is located 25 km (16 mi) north of Tirana.
Air traffic equipments of Rinas Airport are currently been modernized due to the investment of Lockheed Martin.
On 23 April 2005, a 20 year concession period under private management by a consortium lead by Hochtief AirPort commenced. As part of this concession, currently the construction of a completely new passenger terminal and various infrastructure improvements, including construction of a new access road, is under way.
