Rise of the Star or RotS is an album of 11 songs, contemporary rearrangements of the music from the video game Kirby's Adventure for the NES. Rise of the Star was a non-profit collaboration of musicians and lovers of Kirby's Adventure, the soundtrack of which having originally been composed by Hirokazu Ando and Jun Ishikawa. Each track in the album denotes one of the eleven rankings that a Kirby's Adventure player could receive after completing a certain percentage of the game.

The project began with prospective artists auditioning past work for project manager Shariq Ansari, followed by having the participating artists pick tracks to recreate. The album title was chosen by Ansari, adapted from a suggestion made by contributor Ben "chthonic" Briggs, Rise of a Star. The finished product was released and spotlighted as OverClocked ReMix's fourth Site Project on June 25, 2005. As of May 10, 2006, the MP3 & FLAC [CD Album torrent] was downloaded over 6,000 times.
