-->The Riverside Stadium has been the home of Middlesbrough F.C. since the beginning of the English Premier League season 1995-96. Its current capacity is 35,100 all-seated.
History
It was the first new stadium to be built by an English Premier League club since the Taylor Report. Built in 1994, it replaced Middlesbrough's old stadium Ayresome Park. The name was chosen by the clubs fans, the choices were -[Middlehaven] Stadium

Its current capacity is 35,100 all seated, although it can be increased to 42,000. It is also rated as a 4 Star Stadium by UEFA allowing it to hold a UEFA Cup Final.
In 2005 the club resurrected the old "Ayresome Gates" which were locked when the club went in liquidation. They were put outside the Riverside Stadium as a new entrance into the stadium.
