Robert of Gloucester may refer to one of two historical contemporaries:
- Robert, 1st Earl of Gloucester (~1090-31 October 1147), a major figure in The Anarchy and supporter of Empress Matilda against King Stephen, or;
- Robert of Gloucester (historian) (dates unknown), who wrote a chronicle of early English history in the thirteenth century.
