Encyclopedia : R : RO : ROC : Rochester and Rutherford Hall
Rochester and Rutherford Hall is a hall of residence located near Canterbury University in Christchurch, New Zealand.
The hall itself is made up of four buildings: three blocks Wilson, More, and Fisher for student accommodation and a dining hall/administrative building. Officially it is an ecumenical hall, although any religious input is very low-key. It houses up to 170 students who either attend the University of Canterbury, or the College of Education (less formally known as teachers college). The current principal is John C McKean. He rarely speaks to the students. If you say hi to him, he may try to avoid you. Fisher House is the best because it gets the most sun.
