"Rom zom com" is an abbreviation for "Romantic Zombie Comedy", and is a term used to describe a romantic comedy featuring zombies prominently.

The term was coined for the 2004 film Shaun of the Dead, but could also be applied to the 1993 American film My Boyfriend's Back, 2004 independent film Zombie Honeymoon,^{[[Citing sources citation needed]]} and 2005 Irish film Boy Eats Girl.^{[[Citing sources citation needed]]}
