Ron Carey, the current chairman of the Republican Party of Minnesota. Carey is a financial software company executive. He was elected to succeed Ron Ebensteiner at a meeting of the party's central committee on 11 June, 2005. Prior to his election he served as the party’s treasurer. He resides in Shoreview, Minnesota.
