Roosendaal

Roosendaal is a city in the southern Netherlands. Together with surrounding towns it forms a municipality named Roosendaal en Nispen.
The city is an important railway hub: the Zwolle-Roosendaal v.v. main line starts and ends here; the Amsterdam-Brussels v.v. international train service passes through Roosendaal, as does the express train Amsterdam-Vlissingen (Flushing) v.v.
The international train service will be cancelled in 2007 with the coming of the HSL-Zuid.

The city of Roosendaal
Roosendaal was established in the 13th century.The professional football team RBC plays in Roosendaal. RBC demoted this year (2006) after having played the worst season in the Dutch football history.
