Rosemary Harris

Rosemary Harris (born on September 19, 1927 in Ashby, Suffolk, England) is an Academy Award nominated English actress and a member of the American Theatre Hall of Fame.
Beyond her accomplished Broadway career, she is famous for her film role as May Parker in Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2. She was also nominated for an Academy Award for the film Tom & Viv.
She has been married to American writer John Ehle since 1967 and they have a daughter, U.S.-born actress, Jennifer Ehle.
