Rotary Gardens

Rotary Gardens (15 acres) are botanical gardens located at 825 Sharon Road, Janesville, Wisconsin. They are open to the public.
The garden include 1008 taxa (3,032 specimens) of woody plants (trees, shrubs, vines); 2,112 taxa (6,185 specimens) of perennials; 928 taxa (350,000 total bulbs, not including tulips) of bulbs; and 500 yearly taxa (averaging 75,000 plants/year) for a running total of 4548 taxa (and growing) of seasonal plantings.
Permanent Collections include:
- Alliums - 54 varieties, spring/early summer blooming
- Daffodils - 300+ varieties, all 13 divisions represented
- Bearded Iris - 60+ varieties
- Daylilies - 300+ varieties
- Hostas - 200+ varieties
- Ferns - 250+ varieties by 2004
- Roses - 100+ varieties, AARS Award Winners
- Hardy bulbs - 900+ varieties
- Unusual Annuals - 1400+ varieties, 1999-2004
- Tulips - 500 varieties, 2002-2003
- Amaranths - 85 varieties, 2002
- Cannas - 116 varieties, 2003
- Morning glories - 40 varieties, 2003
- Sunflowers - 150 varieties, 2003
- Zinnias - 154 varieties, 2004
- All-America Selections - 170+ varieties, 2004
