Rudraige

Rudraige (Rudhraighe, Ruadhraighe) is a name given to several figures in Irish history and mythology.
1. Rudraige, son of Partholón was one of the first settlers of Ireland after the Flood. Loch Rudraige, modern Dundrum, County Down Bay, erupted when his grave was dug and was named after him.
2. Rudraige, son of Dela, of the Fir Bolg was the second High King of Ireland in the 16th or 20th century BC.
3. Rudraige son of Sithrige was a legendary High King of Ireland of the 2nd or 3rd century BC. The dynasty of the Ulaid traced their descent from him.
