Rudston

Rudston is a small village in the East Riding of Yorkshire approximately 6 miles to the West of Bridlington.

Here stands the Rudston Monolith, at over 25 feet (7.6 metres) tall, it is the tallest standing stone in England. The author Winifred Holtby is buried in the village graveyard.
