Russell Osman

Russell Charles Osman (born 14 February, 1959) is a former English international footballer.

He played nearly 400 games for Ipswich Town and represented his country 11 times.

Later in his playing career he was player-manager of Bristol City (1993–4), and later managed Cardiff City (1996–8). He had a brief role as joint caretaker manager of Bristol Rovers in 2004.

He also played one of the prisoner-of-war footballers in Escape to Victory.
