Rutgers University-Camden

The Camden campus of Rutgers University is located in Camden, New Jersey, and was formerly known as the College of South Jersey and the South Jersey Law School, which were merged with Rutgers in 1950 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. The South Jersey Law School was established in 1926 and the College of South Jersey was established in 1927. Today, the 40 acre (162,000 m²) Camden campus consists of the following degree-granting divisions:
- Camden College of Arts and Sciences
- University College–Camden (School for non-traditional students)
- Graduate School–Camden
- School of Business–Camden
- Rutgers University School of Law–Camden
Housing
The majority of students commute to campus, but on campus housing is available. Graduate and law student live in apartment-like units (shared kitchen, bathroom and living areas, but separate bedrooms).
