Ryan Fitzgerald

Ryan "Fitzy" Fitzgerald (born October 16th 1976) is an Australian media personality and former Australian rules footballer. After being drafted from the South Adelaide Football Club, Fitzgerald played 10 games for the Australian Football League club, the Sydney Swans in the year 2000. In 2002, he was transferred to the Adelaide Crows but only played 8 games for the Crows before retiring from AFL football after sustaining a leg injury in round 8 of that year.

In 2004, he was a housemate in the Big Brother television series. After that he became co-host of the Adelaide Nova 91.9 radio breakfast show and on Before The Game (AFL). In 2005 he had a new role as a co-host on the special Friday night Big Brother show, Friday Night Live, which became a stand alone show in its own right in 2006 as Friday Night Games.

"Fitzy" has since signed on for a number of endorsements, including a billboard advertisement in which he is labelled a b-grade celebrity.
