Ryan Hansen

Born and raised in San Diego, California, the son of a pastor, Hansen began acting with guest starring roles on series such as Grounded for Life and Las Vegas.
In 2004, Hansen auditioned for the role of Duncan Kane on Veronica Mars but lost out to Teddy Dunn. Hansen instead took the recurring role of Dick Casablancas. As of the show's second season (2005 - 2006), Hansen has become a main cast member of the show.
Hansen lives with his wife Amy in Los Angeles, and regularly works on missions in Africa helping the Invisible Children organization. The mission is to end a long running Civil War where the children of Uganda are used as the primary soldiers.
He is also a dancer and can be seen in the upcoming Global Night Commute music video that will raise awareness for the aforementioned Invisible Children.
He has guest starred on 2 episodes of That's So Raven as "JJ" a member of the "Boyz N' motion" (fictional pop boy band)
He is involved with San Diego's Christian Youth Theater.
The creator of Veronica Mars, Rob Thomas, has regularly spoken very highly of him.
