Sāma, Dāna, Bheda, Danda is a method of persuasion used by the Hindu Kshatriyas . Literally means speaking nicely, giving them money (bribery), separating the influence causing the disagreement or problems and as a last resort violence. Danda means stick in Sanskrit and implies the use of force.
