THe HSV SV88 was HSV's first attempt at a luxury performance car (in similar vein to the HDT Director) it was based on the 5 litre Holden Calais with upgraded power level (up 10 kW's to 136 kW and 355Nm of Torque) a minor bodykit and Vl Group A 16 X 7 rims painted bodycolor (which was Dorward Blue), on top of Holdens already impressive list of options, you could also option an in car phone and a fax if you were so inclined (only for the analog network to be phased out a few years on leaving the owner a very expensive paperweight).
