Enterprise	E	Black Arial style capital letter E
GP14		Silhouet of a Bell
Mirror		Red Italic Capital letter M on a crecent section of a circle
Redwing	18	White Number on a dark red sail
Thistle		Blue crested green thistle head

There are many types, or classes of sailing boat. Many have a distinct marking on the sail. This is a list of sail markings found on both dinghys and larger boats.
